Pastors missing the boat?

Since the beginning of the economic meltdown, I have heard on many occasions, pastors making the statement; “ I know that you must be concerned, many of you may be suffering worry and fear”.

I really cannot imagine why a pastor would expect that his congregation would be in a state of doubt, worry or despair. If our pastors are, or have been doing their job and bringing up their flock in the way of the LORD then this is the day for which he has been laboring. As such, their congregations should be in complete faith as to their welfare. They should know kingdom consciousness (“the mind that was in Christ Jesus”) and be living by and in the Blessing of God.

For a true believer this should be the happiest and most joyful time. In our life time we are witnessing the fall of Babylon. We are the generation that will see the return of Jesus and ultimately His millennial reign.

In the mean time we live by faith and the absolute assurance that God is a good God. He supplies all of our needs according to HIS riches in glory.   And HIS Blessing adds no sorrow with it.

Armored with this knowledge; how could anyone of us fear for anything?

LISTENING TO THE INNER VOICE

Does God speak to us today? The scripture says that God speaks in the still small voice so my thought is that God is speaking a lot but we are not still enough to hear. It isn’t ”does God speak”? but rather; do we hear?
